Let's Move Texas Forward Together
I would like to thank everyone who gave their time and money to our campaign. Without their support in every area, the results would be quite different. I hope they all feel proud of the outcome and while we fell short of complete victory, we need to recognize that we showed very well against a credible opponent.I wish Bennett Ratliff, the new State Representative from our House District 115, good luck going forward in solving the immense issues facing Texas. In every direction there are challenges which must be met for Texas to flourish in the future. Chief among them is providing educational opportunities for our children which will prepare them to compete and prosper, for when they prosper, so does Texas.
I hope Bennett's problem-solving nature will be brought to bear on resolving the fiscal, structural and social problems weighing on Texas. I also hope that he will be a voice for partnership and bi-partisanship going forward. When both parties work together, we are all better off.

I've been a resident of North Texas for 22 years and I've grown to love this area with its good communities and great people. We deserve representation in Austin that cares about the same things we do:- A decent, quality education for our children;
- A safe and healthy environment in which to live, with respect for the needs of women, children, and families;
- A dynamic business environment that provides jobs for us and opportunities for our children;
- Policies that are fair to all of our citizens.
Texas is a state with limitless potential, and its population is capable of anything. Let’s work together to make our district and our state better than ever.
